Maintenance method:
1 First, use a spanner to tighten the packing gland screw to compress the packing. If the failure cannot be eliminated, then the loading of the packing check packing should be reopened. If the packing is too loose or the number of layers is insufficient, it should be re-tightened. And add fillers.
2 Open the pump packing box to check the filling quality and properties of the packing. If the filling method is improper, the packing should be repacked in the correct way. If the packing is worn or the properties are mutated (such as different asbestos ropes, dry, hard, etc.), the new packing should be replaced. Filling method of fillers: Generally, the fillers are made of asbestos ropes in various specifications of different thickness and thickness. After being saturated with butter, they are pressed into strips. The cross section is square, and graphite powder is coated on the outer surface. The thickness is cut into several sections and packed into the stuffing box. The number of layers of the stuffing should be appropriate. Generally, four to six layers are appropriate. Use a wrench to properly tighten the packing box gland (generally, the drip amount is 60 drops/min).
3 First open the pump body, remove the lower pump shaft and verify. Then correct or replace it according to the calibration conditions.
4 First of all, loose open the water block to put the cooling water in the net stuffing box and re-open the clean cooling water. Then, the pump shaft is taken out for inspection and repaired or replaced separately for the specific conditions of the inspection.
