Definition:
Chemical crosslinking is widely used in the production of high pressure and ultra-high voltage power cables. Production Line:
Introduction of ATS Two-Stage Compounding Line:
To produce PE cable materials, we generally use the ATS two-stage compounding line. This system includes an ATE twin-screw extruder, an ASE single-screw extruder, and a downstream pelletizing system. The first stage is for polymer compounding, while the second stage involves extruding the compounds at a lower temperature and then pelletizing them through the downstream cutting system.

Key features of this production line include complete plasticization, compounding, and grafting by a high aspect ratio co-rotating twin-screw extruder. It reduces temperature, increases pressure, extrudes, and pelletes using a low-speed single-screw extruder. This technology allows for more flexible operation, optimized technical conditions, and improved product performance compared to a single-stage extruder.

About the Pelletizing System:
Multiple cutting systems can be used in the ATS compounding line. Thanks to the modular design, both instrument control and PLC control are available for the ATS electrical control system. Key electrical components use European brands to ensure stable and reliable performance.

For producing PE cable materials, we typically use the eccentric water-fog pelletizing system. This system ensures homogeneous cross-linking. It efficiently blends PE resin, anti-oxidants, and peroxide cross-linking agents at low temperatures, preventing premature cross-linking.
