The CNX Series mobile welding smoke purifier uses high-efficiency filter cartridges as the main filtration element. Unlike conventional materials, our filters are coated with a PTFE membrane on the surface, which significantly enhances dust retention and filtration efficiency.

Traditional filter materials such as cotton, paper, or other cellulose fibers have fiber sizes ranging from 5 to 60 microns. As smoke passes through, fine particles can penetrate into the material, causing clogging and reducing airflow over time. Without proper cleaning, this leads to decreased performance and higher resistance.

Our advanced PTFE-coated filters effectively block most submicron particles on the surface, preventing them from entering the filter media. This allows for efficient removal of dust during compressed air purging, maintaining consistent airflow and extending the life of the filter elements.

These filters offer at least 3-5 times better filtration efficiency compared to traditional materials and have a service life that is twice as long. They are ideal for handling wet and sticky dust, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environments.

Usage Scenarios

This unit is suitable for welding, polishing, cutting, grinding, and other processes that generate harmful fumes and dust. It effectively captures small metallic particles suspended in the air, offering high purification efficiency, low noise levels, and flexible operation. It’s ideal for arc welding, CO₂ shielded welding, MAG welding, carbon arc gouging, gas cutting, and other similar work environments.

Structural Components

The system includes a universal aspiration arm, heat-resistant vacuum hose, suction hood with an air volume control valve, fireproof high-efficiency filter, pulse counter-blow device, pulse solenoid valve, pressure differential gauge, clean room, activated carbon filters, heavy-duty ash drawer with brakes, flame retardant materials, sound-absorbing cotton, casters, fan, ABB motor, and electrical cabinet.

Working Principle

The welding smoke enters through the exhaust inlet and is guided by a centrifugal fan. The universal dust hood contains a flame arrester that blocks sparks. The smoke then moves into a settling chamber where larger particles fall directly into the ash hopper. Fine particles are captured on the outer surface of the filter, and the clean air is further purified by activated carbon before being released through the outlet.
