The SI60–200mm seven-roll bar straightening unit, independently developed and manufactured by the Xi'an Heavy Machinery Research Institute, has successfully passed the user evaluation conducted by Dalian Jinniu Co., Ltd. (formerly Dalian Special Steel). This achievement marks a significant technological breakthrough for Xizhong in the field of large-scale bar straightening machines, making it the first domestic manufacturer to develop such advanced technology. The successful implementation of this system represents a major step forward in China's metallurgical equipment industry.
Jinniu Company’s acceptance team expressed high satisfaction with the performance and quality of the equipment. They noted that the bar straightening machine from Xizhong meets international standards and offers excellent value for money. Following production trials and evaluations, the team confirmed that all key technical parameters, functions, and product quality meet the contractual requirements. The equipment features a compact design, reasonable parameter settings, and excellent performance in terms of straightening speed, precision, and output, fully satisfying the production needs. Xizhong’s high-precision alloy steel bar straightening machine is the first domestically developed product of its kind. It has been recognized with the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and received the Gold Patent Award. Compared to earlier smaller models, the SI60–200mm large-size bar straightening machine incorporates numerous technical innovations, including the newly patented technologies of "embedded prestressed frame" and "hydraulic dynamic constant pressure straightening method." It also integrates advanced concepts such as constant pressure straightening, quasi-hyperbolic curve design, and a composite roller system that combines deep and shallow concave rollers. The straightening precision reaches ≤1‰, enabling full-length straightening of bars, and the entire process is controlled automatically and precisely through computer systems.
Xizhong’s bar straightening machine series has now become standardized and diversified, covering a wide range of specifications, including high-alloy steel bars from SI10 to SI200mm. The equipment comes in various roller arrangements to meet different user requirements. To date, more than 50 units have been successfully introduced to the market, demonstrating strong demand and confidence from industrial users. This development highlights Xizhong’s growing influence and technological leadership in the field of bar straightening equipment.
