1. If the rivet head of the impeller is worn, it can be welded by pressing the impeller body and the hub to weld the head of the worn rivet back to the original normal state.

2. If the rivet holes are prone to fatigue cracks, use the entire unused new welding rod to repair the cracks, but symmetrically proceed with the axis of the impeller as the center, and leave the rest of the welding wire at the crack. Here, a new welding rod is used to repair the crack in the corresponding rivet hole. After the welding, the rest of the welding electrode is the same length as the remaining welding electrode during the repair of the symmetrical rivet to ensure that the weight of the welding repair is equal.

If there is no crack at the symmetrical rivet hole, the electrode is also welded here to compensate for the new welding weight at the crack of the symmetrical rivet hole. Welding in accordance with this method of symmetrical reinforcement can repair cracks.

3. A simple dynamic balance test on the impeller is also very simple. The propeller is lifted and then hand-pushed to make it rotate gently. If the balance is not reached, it will stop at the lowest point and swing left and right. If there is bias, it can be spot welded on the opposite impeller, increase the weight to make it balanced, or use the angle grinder to grind away the weld mark of the biased impeller, which can also reach a balance, so that the fan can be repaired to work properly.

Quenching and Tempering, abbreviated as Q&T is a king of processing that strengthen or harden steel bars by heating the materials and then cooling in water, oil or other liquid medium, that rapidly the change from austenite to perlite to get the proper properties for various usage. The quenched & tempered steel bar materials are usually with carbon from 0.30% - 0.60%, it is widely used as merchant bars in components of various machines.
