China Robotics Industry Alliance Visits Shanghai Robot Park and Key Enterprises

CIROS Organizing Committee On February 26-28, under the organization of the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission, Chen Jialiang, deputy secretary-general of the China Robotics Industry Alliance, conducted research on three industrial parks in Shanghai and visited Jinshan District of Shanghai respectively. , Gucun Industrial Park in Shanghai Baoshan District (Shanghai Robotics Industrial Park) and Kangqiao Industrial Park in Pudong, Shanghai, and met with the representatives of the three leading robot companies in the industrial parks—Wodi, ABB, and FAUNC.

The leaders of the three parks separately introduced the development status and planning of the area to the Alliance. Jinshan District has eight major industrial clusters including new materials, new energy, green creative printing, smart equipment, bio-pharmaceuticals, auto parts, food processing, and fine chemicals, and plans to build a “smart manufacturing equipment featured industrial base”, focusing on existing ones. Advantageous industries, develop robotics and automation-related companies, and promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises in the park. At present, Shanghai Wodi Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. is a key robot manufacturer in the park and one of the key national brands cultivated in Shanghai; Shanghai Robot Industrial Park is located in the Gucun Industrial Park, Baoshan District, Shanghai. In 2012, the With the approval of the Committee, the industrial park was formally established. The park plans to create the "China's smart equipment manufacturing industry technology innovation leading demonstration area" in the future. At present, the key robotics companies in the park are FANUC robotics companies; the leading industries in Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao Industrial Park mainly include the electronic information industry and auto parts manufacturing industry. Currently, Kangqiao Industrial Park vigorously develops the robotics industry. The representative company is ABB. After the company stayed in, it produced about 10 upstream and downstream robot supporting companies.

The Secretary-General of the Alliance, Mr. Chen, and the leaders of the three parks respectively introduced the development status of the domestic robot industry and the work that the alliance has already carried out. Secretary-General Chen emphasized that in recent years, various local governments have been optimistic about this new industry, and now there are nearly 20 local robot industrial parks or local robot-related organizations. However, in order to truly achieve the healthy development of the local robot industry, local governments should combine their own industrial bases and geographical advantages and other resources, identify the functional orientation, conduct differentiated construction, break through the application bottleneck, promote industrial integration, and promote domestic The benign development of the overall robot industry. At the same time, it stated that the China Robotics Industry Alliance is willing to provide industry support for the development of the park and welcomes participation in the 2014 China International Robot Exhibition (CIROS) and supporting events held in Shanghai from July 9th to 11th. Leaders of the three parks expressed their desire to strengthen cooperation with industry alliances, provide valuable suggestions and industry support for the future development of the park, and stated that they will actively organize enterprises in the region to participate in the "2014 China Robot Exhibition (CIROS)" organized by the Alliance. .

At the same time, the alliance visited the Wady factory and met with top executives of ABB and FAUNC respectively. These three companies are respectively the governing unit and the deputy director unit of the alliance. While affirming the importance of the alliance platform, they also said they will continue to actively cooperate with the various functions of the alliance and last year’s “2013 China International Robot Exhibition” (CIROS). And industry conferences, etc. expressed their appreciation. In 2014 CIROS, the three companies will continue to actively participate, and will expand the scale and propaganda to varying degrees. We hope that through this exhibition platform, we can further enhance our brand influence and gain more international information. Create a broader customer market.
