Anti-dumping pressure is increasing, and the export of plastic products is hidden.

According to the latest customs statistics, in January 2007, China exported 63.37 million tons of plastic products and exported 1.207 billion US dollars, up by 6.9% and 15.6% over the same period of last year. However, it is worth noting that while exports have grown steadily, the domestic plastics industry is also facing trade barriers, rising costs, squeezing profits, lagging domestic standards, and low export product value and added value.
With the rapid development of the plastics industry, in the past two years, China's plastics industry has become a very dynamic industry, and the export of plastic products presents a scene of prosperous fire. However, due to the lack of scale of some companies, they can not form large-scale production, low grade products, it is difficult to adapt to changes in foreign markets, which restricts the further growth of plastic products exports.
In January 2007, there were 7,049 enterprises in Guangdong Province that had records of plastic products exports, an increase of 2087 over the same period of last year. However, only 3 of them had a total export value of more than US$10 million, and only 78 had a US$1 million or more. Private enterprises were active in exports, exporting only 130 million U.S. dollars in January, an increase of 33.3%. However, private enterprises are relatively backward in terms of technology and equipment, especially many of them are even small family-owned enterprises, and their product quality is relatively low. At the same time, the domestic market has a “follow-up” phenomenon. Small and medium-sized enterprises basically do not have their own brands, and their products are often “big goods”. They are not competitive in the international market and they mainly rely on low-end price routes to obtain exports.
However, exports of domestic plastic products are being affected by international trade barriers. Experts from the China Plastics Industry Association told the reporter that some of the domestically produced plastics daily necessities and handicrafts are still using DOP plasticizers that are harmful to the human body. As the current domestic regulations do not specify the maximum allowable amount of plasticizers, Countries and regions such as Europe, the United States, Japan, and South Korea have introduced standards and regulations, causing plastic products to be exported to these countries. The issue of anti-dumping should not be ignored.
In addition, as raw material prices have risen sharply, the substitution effect of imported plastics has also emerged. The rise in crude oil prices in 2006 drove the price of downstream plastic raw materials to rise by more than 30%, while the price of plastic products rose by only 8.5% during the same period, far below the rate of increase in raw materials, and the profitability of enterprises was further reduced. At the same time, the substantial increase in the price of plastic raw materials triggered the import substitution effect of waste plastics. Statistics show that in 2006, Guangdong accumulated a total of 1.41 billion U.S. dollars worth of waste plastics, an increase of 25.7% over 2005. Relevant experts pointed out that the use of plastic waste to replace plastic raw materials to produce plastic products, although to a certain extent, can save business costs, but due to uneven quality of waste plastics and some even imported and put into production without treatment, it will lead to the use of plastic waste The quality of finished plastic products is worrying, and the large amount of imported waste plastics has also become the culprit of environmental pollution.
Relevant persons reminded the majority of plastic enterprises that based on their geographical advantages, they should further improve product quality, lower production costs, strengthen self-discipline in the industry, and accelerate industrial upgrading, so as to ensure a steady increase in the export of plastic products.

JIC Fittings

JIC Hydraulic Fittings are a type of hydraulic fitting that use a 37-degree flare seating surface to create a metal-to-metal seal between the fitting and the hydraulic tubing. JIC stands for "Joint Industry Council," which is a group that established standards for hydraulic fittings in the mid-20th century.

JIC hydraulic fittings are popular in hydraulic systems because they provide a reliable and leak-free connection that can withstand high pressure and vibration. They are commonly used in industrial, automotive, and aerospace applications.

JIC hydraulic fittings come in different sizes and configurations to accommodate different tubing sizes and thread types. They can be made of various materials, including stainless steel, brass, and carbon steel, to suit different operating environments.

It is important to select the correct size and type of JIC fitting for your application to ensure a proper seal and prevent leaks or other issues. It is also important to follow proper installation procedures and torque specifications to ensure a secure and reliable connection.
