The two ships are of a four-star technical rating and the language of the drawings, guides and instruction manuals are in English. Its hull, machinery and armor are constructed in accordance with the current regulations and rules of the Japan Maritime Association (NK) and under special inspection by the Japanese CLASSNK Classification Society.
