If a hand truck is started on a snow-covered slope, it requires the driver to operate pedals and clutches with superb driving skills while preventing the wheels from slipping. In contrast, a vehicle equipped with an Allison automatic transmission can stably start on a slope without effort.

Toshitsugu said: “With a complex shifting operation on a narrow road, we can easily reach the garbage disposal plant. The P block is designed for trucks with a total weight of less than 11.8 tons to prevent cars from slipping when they stop on the slope. Obviously, the rate of accidents has been greatly reduced and productivity has increased."

For vehicles equipped with Allison automatic transmissions, once the power takeoff (PTO) is in operation, the PTO automatically closes when the shift lever is in the D/R range, and the PTO automatically when the shift lever is in the P range. Open - so there is no need to operate the PTO before and after operating the task.
