Fluke Launches Connectivity Test Tool System

Fluke test equipment announced its withdrawal from the world's leading connected test tool system, which can transfer measurement data from test tools to smart phones and cloud space, enabling the maintenance team to improve communication, security and work efficiency.

On December 1, 2014, Fluke Test Instruments (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. announced the launch of Fluke Connect®, the world's leading connected test tool system, and entered a new era of smart measurement!

If maintenance technicians can view maintenance records on the job site, and can view real-time measurement data and share data with team members and supervisors, this will help these technicians make better and faster decisions. However, in general, the recorded data will be brought back to the office and the team members will rarely come together. The Fluke ConnectTM system solves these problems while also improving the safety of technicians handling charged devices.

With the Fluke Connect system, maintenance technicians can wirelessly transmit the data measured by the test tool to the smartphone so they can be safely stored in the cloud so that all team members can access the data at their respective job sites. More than 20 Fluke tools wirelessly connect FlukeConnect applications, including digital multimeters, infrared cameras, insulation testers, process instruments, and specific voltage, current, and temperature modules.

Technicians can automatically record measurement data through the Auto RecordTM function anytime, anywhere, and transmit infrared images to the Fluke CloudTM storage system, saving the need for hand-written records. As long as each team member owns a smart phone and installs the application, he can view the measurement data.

The Fluke Connect application has Equipment Log history, which allows technicians to assign measurement data to specific devices and create a history of measurement data stored in the cloud, allowing them to be viewed while troubleshooting and performing reliability maintenance. . Technicians can use TrendItTM to quickly chart data to help them analyze data trends and make timely, sound decisions.

The Fluke Cloud storage system has first-class security protections including secure access, electronic monitoring, multi-factor access control systems, built-in firewalls, and encrypted data storage.

The Fluke Connect app can also use the Share LiveTM video call feature. Technicians can share measurement data with other team members in real time without having to leave the measurement site, get approval for repairs, and get answers to questions.
