At present, there are still 40 major key technologies in the chemical industry that require major breakthroughs.
Since the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" period, the chemical industry has made great strides in key scientific and technological research projects, the introduction of technological digestion and absorption, the promotion of scientific and technological achievements, as well as transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and energy conservation and emission reduction. In the past three years, the chemical industry has focused on major key technology organizations and developed a number of core patented technologies. For example, "Pesticide Creation Project", through the key engineering technology of glyphosate and other leading varieties of engineering, has initially formed a production technology with advanced international standards.
The scientific and technological progress in the chemical industry has promoted energy conservation and emission reduction. Among the first batch of 42 key energy-saving technologies recommended by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association to the National Development and Reform Commission, 8 were selected as the “Key Energy-saving Technology Promotion Catalog” by the country. The low mercury catalyst technology is a major breakthrough in pollution reduction in the chlor-alkali industry, and the mercury content in the catalyst has dropped from more than 10% to less than 6%. Radial tire enterprises adopt nitrogen-filled vulcanization instead of the traditional hot water thermostatic vulcanization, plastic material crushing instead of baking glue, and energy-saving effects are obvious.
At present, the gap between the overall level of science and technology in the petrochemical industry and the world's advanced level is manifested in the fact that the overall process technology and equipment are relatively backward, and the original scientific and technological innovation capability and technological integration and innovation capability are still insufficient; the self-sufficiency rate of key technologies is low, and the core competitiveness of enterprises is not Strong; the rate of conversion of scientific and technological achievements is low, and the impact and leading role of adjusting product structure, transforming traditional industries, and cultivating emerging industries are not yet significant; the lack of scientific and technological input, the rational pattern of multi-investment in government, enterprises, and society has not yet taken shape; The construction of the main body's technological innovation system has just started and has not yet been truly formed.
Not long ago, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association completed the urgent need for key technology research in the chemical industry. The results show that in order to meet market demand and promote energy-saving and emission reduction, the current chemical industry should focus on the development of 40 major key technologies. These include modern coal chemical technologies such as large-scale pulverized coal gasification technologies, bio-chemical technologies such as non-food renewable raw material bio-utilization, energy-saving and emission reduction technologies such as kiln-process phosphoric acid and ion-membrane electrolysis and caustic soda production.
