Seventy-year-old Zhang Yongling, who lives in an out-of-town area of ​​Harbin Road, used his interest in woodworking to use a two-year period to carve out a wooden bed. He said that this was a piece of work that he had satisfied in his life. He would give this bed to his daughter as a dowry.

According to Zhang Yongling’s old man, he worked as a designer in a company in Harbin before his retirement. He liked to do woodwork when he was young. In the years following his retirement, he had made chairs, wooden sofas and other life tools. In March 2010, he found a few pieces of hardwood at his friend's house and felt very texture. He bought it and created it. After he had the idea, he set about designing, not once at a time, not twice at two times, and only conceived for more than 3 months, with up to 100 abandoned drawings. His design philosophy is to do both an antique format and a modern atmosphere; both embossed stereo vision, and hollow mesh transparent effect; both metallic inlaid luxury, but also walnut skin layered texture .

The daughter who was working in Beijing heard that Dad had carved a wooden bed for her. She was glad to say on the phone that she had no need to marry any other parents. This bed was a good wedding gift given by her parents.
