Excerpts from the ChicagoTribune.com: Residents of the Warren-Waukegan Fire Protection District are in for a welcome surprise: they can now expect to pay less in property taxes following the approval of a record-breaking $1.2 million tax abatement—by far the largest in the district’s history and one of the most significant local abatements in recent years. The decision was made by the district board last week, marking a major step toward addressing growing concerns about rising property taxes. While it's still too early to determine exactly how much this abatement will save individual households, a similar reduction of $300,000 from last year led to an average tax cut of about $75 per household. The district serves a wide area, including unincorporated regions between Waukegan and Gurnee, extending westward to Grayslake. It covers approximately 3,300 homes and structures. Park City is also included in the district, even though it is an incorporated municipality. Thanks to careful financial planning and collaboration with Gurnee, the district has managed to turn its finances around. Just 15 years ago, it was running an annual deficit of around $800,000. Today, it holds substantial cash reserves that make this large abatement possible. Expanding the Gurnee Fire Department’s service area has also opened up new funding opportunities for the department, allowing it to apply for grants it previously couldn’t access. Over the years, the district has invested in multiple ambulances, fire engines, and even contributed half the cost of Gurnee’s newest ladder truck. Additionally, more than a decade ago, the district passed a resolution ensuring that no resident would face out-of-pocket costs for ambulance services. 16 Inch Open Mill,16 Inch Silica Gel Open Mill,16 Inch Automatic Glue Turning Machine,16 Inch Oil Heating Open Mill,16 Inch Water Cooled Open Mill Dongguan Zhenggong Electromechanical Equipment Technology Co., Ltd , https://www.mixer-cn.com
