The user side believes that under the premise of not having a good track record of domestically produced equipment, the risk of purchasing domestically-made equipment is too high, and it would rather be more prudent to spend more money on foreign advanced equipment. The equipment manufacturing industry believes that performance can only be used after it has been used. Users do not first break out of stereotypes and actively support cooperation. Performance will never happen. The two sides each insisted on their own words, but they were a little bit "public and public, and her husband said that they are long".

There is such a well-known and provocative argument that "the world is chicken or egg first." Originally, there was no chicken to come to the egg, but no egg and no chicken, this is purely a gimmick that can only entertain people. However, in my opinion, the current localization of our major equipment seems to have fallen into such an unsolved puzzle. Equipment procurement is a one-time investment. Not only does it cost a huge amount of money, it also directly affects the subsequent construction of the project and normal production. It does not have to be sloppy. In this sense, it seems plausible that a large number of major equipment imports. However, from the perspective of the overall industry and long-term interests, this situation can not be long. Moreover, over the past few years, China’s equipment manufacturing industry has actually made considerable progress in many areas and quickly reduced its level with the developed countries. The selection of these inexpensive domestically-made equipment may not be a “failure”. To put it bluntly, at present, some of our companies in the purchase of equipment, Chong Yang's ideas are still relatively serious, gave up the basic principle of the choice of product cost to decide, have a prejudice against the domestic equipment, excessive pursuit of the world advanced level of technical equipment.

So how can we break this mystery? If we say that the current equipment supply and demand sides are still two discordant lines, what we desperately need is a pair of clever hands that can be twisted into a rope. However, the author believes that the country’s industrial policies and supporting measures are the best choices. But what exactly is wrong? If you let yourself go, it is a bit serious that China’s basic equipment manufacturing industry will gradually die down, and it will eventually endanger the survival of users and the industry. This is tantamount to “fighting”; if it is forced to promote localization, it will be no different. The "killing chickens and eggs" is obviously not an ideal choice. It should be said that the general direction of China’s major equipment manufacturing is already very clear. Although there is still no certain conclusion as to how to go about it, there is one thing that is certain. We are developing relevant industries for localization, especially the application of the first major equipment. Policies and measures must be given equal emphasis and encouragement. Both prepare sweets and keep whips. In this context, our user companies should abandon the kind of myopia and colored glasses in the past, and examine localization issues from the perspective of the industry and the long-term interests of the country. More importantly, our equipment manufacturing enterprises should seize the time and take the initiative to actively solve the user's most worried about domestic equipment, especially the first set of equipment quality, reliability and stability, delivery time and after-sales service, etc. Using facts to prove that the selection of domestically produced equipment is not only a matter of saving money, it does not lead to "mistakes." Only in this way, the supply and demand sides can break the "chicken in front of the egg" in the cycle, and turn to enter the "chicken laying, egg hatching chicken" mutual promotion, complement each other in a virtuous cycle.
