The National Robot Quality Supervision and Inspection Center will prepare to build

Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine agreed to jointly establish the National Robot Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Liaoning) by the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Shenyang Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute. This is the first national-level robotic quality supervision and inspection center in China. It will fill the gaps in the national quality inspection center for robots after completion and become the only professional robot and core component testing agency in China, which will strengthen the quality of robotic products in China. It is of historic significance to supervise and improve the level of industrial quality, break international technical barriers to trade, and promote Shenyang to seize high-end manufacturing bases.

The National Robot Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Liaoning), located in Minnan District, will rely on the technological advantages of Shenyang City to form a professional with high academic level in the production, testing, training, research and development of robots and their core components. The talent team forms a talent team that meets the needs of the national quality inspection center for testing and research work.

At present, the testing center has an office and laboratories area of 1,000 square meters, has built 5 robots testing rooms, has 30 employees, and has 54 sets of professional testing equipment and instruments. We have completed the comprehensive inspection of the functions and performance of industrial robots, cleaners, mobiles, services and special types of robots and dozens of robotic products. We have provided customers with thousands of sets of high quality and reliable robots and related products.

Iron Based Alloy Powder

Iron-based alloy powder is commonly used in plasma transfer arc welding (PTAW) due to its excellent mechanical properties and high resistance to corrosion and heat. This type of powder is typically composed of iron as the base metal, along with various alloying elements such as nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten.

The specific composition of the iron-based alloy powder may vary depending on the desired properties and application requirements. For example, adding nickel can increase the strength and toughness of the weld, while chromium enhances the corrosion resistance. Molybdenum and tungsten are often added to improve the high-temperature strength and creep resistance of the weld.

Iron-based alloy powders for PTAW are available in various particle sizes, typically ranging from a few micrometers to several hundred micrometers. The powder is usually fed into the plasma arc through a powder feeder, which ensures a controlled and consistent supply of powder during the welding process.

During PTAW, the powder is melted and deposited onto the workpiece, forming a weld bead. The high energy plasma arc provides the heat necessary to melt the powder and the base metal, creating a strong and durable weld joint.

Overall, iron-based alloy powder for plasma transfer arc welding offers excellent weldability, high mechanical properties, and resistance to corrosion and heat, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and power generation.
