Working fire in Chicago, 12-30-22
This is a report from Eric Haak about a fire that broke out this morning (December 30) in Chicago's 8th Battalion. It was a 25 x 50 feet, two-story ordinary structure that was occupied at the time. There was some communication of flames to the "B" exposure. The responding units included Engine Companies 125 and 68 along with Truck Companies 53 and 29.

It’s always tough to see these kinds of scenes, especially when they happen in such a densely populated area. The firefighters are doing an incredible job under challenging conditions, and my hat goes off to them for their bravery and dedication. Let’s hope the situation is brought under control soon without any major injuries or further property loss.
