Chicago 5-11 Alarm 9-30-12 (update 2)
It was a busy day in Chicago as a significant 5-11 alarm fire broke out on Nelson Street on September 30th, 2012. I happened to be nearby and decided to capture some moments from the scene. The chaos was palpable, with firefighters working tirelessly to contain the blaze.
I took several pictures that day, trying to document the intensity and dedication of the Chicago Fire Department. One of the images shows the sheer scale of the operation, with multiple units responding to the emergency. Another captures the teamwork and focus of the firefighters as they worked to bring the situation under control.
Attached below are a few of the photos I managed to snap. These images provide just a glimpse into the hard work and coordination required during such emergencies. Special thanks go out to the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep our city safe.
