An airless lotion pump tube is a type of packaging for skincare and cosmetic products that utilizes a pump mechanism to dispense the product. Unlike traditional pump bottles, airless lotion pump tubes do not allow air to enter the container, which helps to prevent oxidation and contamination of the product. The tube is made of a flexible material that can be compressed, allowing the product to be dispensed without any air entering the container. This type of packaging is ideal for products that contain active ingredients that can be affected by air and light, such as antioxidants and vitamins. Airless lotion pump tubes are also popular for their convenience and portability, making them a popular choice for travel-sized skincare products. Waukegan is added to the site
The Waukegan Fire Department recently joined the roster of MABAS Division 4, rounding out all the departments in the county. Interestingly, it’s also the largest among them. With five stations and over 28 pieces of apparatus, Waukegan boasts an impressive fleet. Each station houses an Advanced Life Support (ALS) rescue unit, while four of them operate engine companies. At Station 4, you’ll find both a 105-foot Pierce quint and Rescue 1644.

In addition to its firefighting capabilities, Waukegan provides essential services like a bomb squad and hazmat response teams. Their bomb squad operates out of an annex building at Station 1 and serves both Lake and McHenry Counties. They even have a containment vessel for explosives. Additionally, they maintain a dive team, a robust squad unit, and a specialized 6x6 ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) truck stationed at the Waukegan Regional Airport.
Take a look at Waukegan 1667, which serves as their bomb squad vehicle. This photo was taken by Larry Shapiro.

For another angle of their firefighting arsenal, here's 1665, a 1984 Oshkosh T-12 6x6 equipped with AFFF foam for firefighting. Again, this image is courtesy of Larry Shapiro.
Waukegan’s fleet includes engines from reputable manufacturers like Seagrave and KME, aerial trucks from Pierce and Seagrave, and ambulances from Medtec, Wheeled Coach, and Taylor Made. Engine 1613, a 2011 KME Severe Service model, is a fine example of their modern firefighting equipment. You can see it in a photo taken by Jeff Rudolph.
Rescue 1643, a 2007 Medtec vehicle mounted on a 4300 IHC chassis, is another standout piece in their fleet. Larry Shapiro captured this image as well.

Overall, Waukegan’s fire department is a powerhouse within the region, offering comprehensive emergency services with a diverse array of vehicles and equipment. It’s clear that their resources and expertise make them a critical asset for the communities they serve.
